Lately, I’ve been asking myself the same question again and again: what does it takes to become an affiliate marketer, an online entrepreneur, or whatever you want to call it? Basically, I’m asking myself how to make money online.
Well, I’ve given myself lots of answers, until literally five minutes ago I got hit by the answer.
I’m assuming that if you’re reading these words, or listening to them, you’re interested in the same thing. Well, I hope these will serve you as they’ve served me.
What do we need then? It’s pretty damn simple if you think about it, but let’s analyze the big picture just for a moment.
Let’s be really honest with each other, shall we? In the YouTube era, when information floods our monitors, we can’t really say that’s the know-how that we’re missing. It doesn’t matter where you’re landing, you’ll be able to find plenty of marketers ready to suggest to you what step’s next, or how to do something, or whatever. And it’s not only YouTube: social media are full of those messages as well. Of course, that’s without even considering all the emails we receive.
It’s not even a lack of plans or strategies. In the same videos or articles, we can find all sorts of strategies and battle plans. I’m not questioning how effective they really are, but they’re there to try.
Do we have to mention motivation? I don’t think that you really are without it. Again, let’s be real for a second. How many times have you felt a little bit sad, depressed, or angry in the last week for not being wealthy? I know I have been; I know lots of you have as well. So, it’s not a lack of motivation as well.
What is it then?
Read carefully what I’m about to write in the next few sentences because it can be the difference between your success or being stuck in this life again and again.
What we are missing is someone who’s pushing us, a mentor of some sort who keeps us accountable for our work – or lack of it.
Think about it: when was the last time you completed a tough task? Or even better, analyze the career of the ones who made it already. Almost all of them had someone who was pushing them. And it can’t be your partner or your kid, or your alter ego, otherwise, you would have done it already.
It has to be someone who knows the struggle, who knows how and where to push in order to make you move that ass toward that goal.
And of course, as the great marketer that I am, and an even better human being, I always had the solution, but I wasn’t able to find the right angle to market it. Not until I am writing these words that you’re reading right now. Hear me out for a moment.
